PUSHAW LAKE CAMPGROUND POLICY

Our intent is to operate a well maintained and orderly campground for our guests to comfortably enjoy.  Our key words are "fair" and "considerate".  For the protection and safety of Management and the campground community, the following is our policy per the update at the bottom:

    DEPOSIT, CANCELLATION & CHECK IN/OUT:  We require a 1/3 deposit at the time advance reservations are made.  All other monies shall be paid in full at the time of arrival.  Cancellations will be accepted prior to two weeks of the scheduled arrival date.  Deposit will be returned, less $5 handling fee.  No refund will be given for cancellations within two weeks of the arrival date.  Check-in time is between 3 PM and 8 PM. If you must arrive after 9 PM, please notify the office so check-in arrangements may be made.  Check-out time is by 11 am on the day of departure.  If you wish to vacate the site and spend the afternoon on the beach, the beach day fee will apply.

     RENTERS PER SITE:  Four people constitutes the number of people allowed for the site fee.  However, ALL visitors must report to the office per “GUESTS” Policy below. 
       
 
   
CHILDREN: Children under the age of 6 are to be supervised by adults at all times.  They may not roam off their site without an adult.   Renter is to know the whereabouts and actions of all other minor children under their responsibility.   An adult must accompany small children in the restrooms and showers and within the campground.  Adult renters shall be fully responsible for their children and guest children.   All cost of damages caused by children shall be the financial responsibility of the renter.
 
    
PETS:  Pets are welcome provided they are under strict control of the owner and adhere to this policy.  There is a limit of 1 dog or cat per site.  NO Doberman, Pit Bull or Rottweiler  or ill-tempered dogs allowed on the premises! Guests are not allowed to bring pets.  Pets must be attended and leashed AT ALL TIMES outside the camp unit.  Noisy pets unattended at camp while you are away will be evicted.  Owners are to quiet dogs and other pets when they commence barking or being noisy.  Pet waste must be removed and properly bagged and disposed of in the dumpster.  Do not allow your pet to excrement in the leaves or brush.  When walking your leashed pet, please carry a baggie or the like to pick up its waste.  Any pet biting anyone while on the premises shall be the full responsibility of its owner and shall hold harmless the owners of the premises, its agents and its other renters and guests. Owners of unleashed, uncontrolled noisy and biting pets will be cause for eviction from the premises at the discretion of management and without monetary refund.

    
SPEED LIMIT: The speed limit on the entire premises is 10 MPH ONLY (enforced).  Please be very careful of children at play.

     PARKING: Only two vehicles are allowed to be parked on the larger sites and one vehicle on the smaller sites at one time.  Certain areas may park more.  All others are to be orderly parked in the parking lot.  There shall be no parking on vacant lots or roads for any reasons.  Please do not encroach to other sites.

     QUIET TIME: Quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM Sunday through Thursday, and 11 PM to 8 AM Friday and Saturday.  Renters may sit at the campfire after hours providing they are quiet during quiet hours.  Quiet time may be occasionally extended for special campground occasions.

     CONDUCT: Good conduct shall be maintained at all times.  Loud foul language or obscenity will not be tolerated.  Renters are responsible for the conduct of their children and guests.  If misconduct is an issue, renter, family and guests will immediately be required to leave the premises without monetary refund.

     GUESTS:  Up to 6 outside paying visitors are allowed per campsite.  Gatherings of more than 6 must be approved by management and may be required to gather on the front lawn or use the recreation hall.  Please review the parking policy.  Guest are not allowed to bring pets.  All guests are required to pay the “guest fee” and secure a guest pass at the office before entering on the visiting site.  The guest fee is $2 per day per guest, and $5 per guest for day and overnight stay.  Guests shall be required to conform to the Policy of this campground.  Day guests visiting hours are from 9 AM to 10 PM.

     CONSIDERATION: Renters, children or guests shall not traverse across sites that are rented and shall always be considerate of other campers and guests within the campground.  Management reserves the right to enter upon rented sites at any time it deems necessary.

     MAINTENANCE: Sites shall be kept in a well maintained condition, being free of debris and clutter.

     TREES, BRUSH, GROUNDS: There shall be no pruning or cutting of trees and brush, nor altering the soil or enhancements made to the site without express permission of the management.

     RUBBISH AND WASTE DISPOSAL: A dumpster is placed at the entrance to the premises for the use of proper disposal.  It is illegal to discharge gray or black water on the ground.  Please do not do so.  Sewerage disposal is on Sundays and Wednesdays.  If you wish to be pumped, you must sign up and pay ahead of time at the office.

     ENCROACHMENT: Renters are not allowed to encroach onto another lot for any reason.  Please confine yourselves to your own lot.  If you are unclear of your lot boundary, please contact management for defining your lot boundary.  If you encroach, we will require you to move.

     DAMAGE: Renter shall pay the full cost incurred by the Owner for damages to the premises, personal property, and leased property of the Owner caused by the renter, its family, guests, or pet.

     ATVs & MOTORCYCLES: For now,  motor cycles and ATVs are allowed provided the speed limit is adhered to,  they are not noisy, they don’t tear up the premises, and children under 18 not be allowed to operated them.  If they become a problem and the above is not adhered to, then a new policy will be immediately made to ban all ATVs and motorcycles within the premises.  Guests may not bring ATVs and motorcycles.    

     GUNS:
  Firearms, BB and pellet guns and the like may not be discharged on the premises.

     WATERCRAFT/TOYS: Renters may bring a small watercraft and recreational water items.  Watercraft and trailers shall be parked in a designated area.  Please check at the office.  Watercraft may not be parked on the rented site. 

    BEACH USAGE: The beach is not a public beach.  The beach is for the use of  the renters, the number of persons allowed on a site for the rental fee, and paying guests of renters.  Beach use by children under the age of 12 must be supervised by the responsible adult.  Vehicles must be parked in the parking lot. 
Beach hours are 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Beach rules are as follows:

          No lifeguard on duty.  Swim at your own risk and in the designated area only.
          Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.    
          No glass is allowed on the beach.
          Bikes are not allowed on the front lawn or on the beach area.
          No fishing allowed from the beach or designated swimming area.
          No grilling on the beach.  Please check with management before bringing small grill appliance.
          What you bring to the beach, bring back to your site.
          Do not throw cigarette butts or litter in the water, on the beach, lawn or anywhere on the
          premises.
          Alcohol is not allowed on the beach.  Minors consuming alcohol anywhere will be prosecuted.
          Be courteous to others.  Use proper language.   Children are present.
          Campground management reserves the right to close the beach at any time.
          If you have a concern, please contact the management.
          The indemnification below shall be considered part of this Beach Usage Policy.
          Safe enjoyment is a must.


    
BOAT LANDING USAGE:
The boat landing is for the use of  the renters, the number of persons allowed on a site for the rental fee, and paying guests.  Do not leave vehicles and watercraft trailers at or near the landing.  See management for designated parking area..
   
     INDEMNIFICATION: It is understood and agreed by renter that the owners of the premises or its agents assumes no liability for injuries, death or damages that may be suffered on the premises, and the owners of the premises assumes no liability for any damages to, or theft of, renter’s personal property.  In consideration for the use of the premises by renter,

         (A) Renters

               (i) Releases the owners of the premises and its agents;

               (ii) Assumes all responsibility and liability; and

               (iii) Indemnifies and holds harmless the owners of the premises and its agents from all claims, actions, damages, liabilities, losses and expenses (including attorney fees, interest and penalties) arising out of injuries to personal property or persons (including death) sustained by the renters, its family, guests or pets using said premises; including but not limited to, claims, actions, damages, liabilities, losses and expenses (including attorney fees, interest and penalties) arising out of injuries to property or person (including death) sustained or alleged to be sustained, in whole or in part, by the failure to act and/or omissions of the owners of the premises or its agents with regard to said premises.  Finally, renters agrees to advise the owners of the premises or its agents promptly, in writing, of any unsafe or dangerous conditions on the premises subject to the renter agreement.

 

    POLICY CHANGES & BREACH OF POLICY: Management reserve the right in its sole discretion to make changes to this Agreement at any time deemed necessary.  Management further reserves the right to make any exceptions necessary to this agreement and shall not be construed that any or all renters are entitled to the same exceptions or special provisions.  An update of this Agreement shall be distributed to all renters upon its change.  By the discretion of the owners of the premises or its agents, breach of any of the above shall be cause for immediate eviction from the premises.  If necessary, some infractions may be cause for prosecution by law.  There shall be no monetary refund for evictions.

We ask for your understanding and cooperation.  We hope you continue to make Pushaw Lake Campground a comfortable, memorable and fun place to be!!

BOATERS TAKE NOTE….IT’S THE LAW!
• Motorized boating and water-skiing no closer than
  200 ft. from the shoreline.
• Have an observer in the boat while water-skiing.
• Have 1 vest type life jacket in the boat per boat occupant.
• Children 12 years and under wear life jacket while in boat.

 

Please be respectful and considerate of other campers, their campsite, belongings, comfort and privacy.  Please be an example.
